vulnerability increases the production of endorphins.

when vulnerable, we're so drugged by the chemicals released by the anticipation of pain therefore seriously impairing our ability to both make and act on decisions.

so is vulnerability antithetical to human survival?

perhaps the perceived nature and outcome of vulnerabilty is no more then a matter of conditioning, and the only variable is fear.

the fear of a wounded once-insurmountable defence mechanism, or the courage to be exhuastively exposed and fragmented apart.

of a lifetime's silence, a minute's grief.
